Harvey L. Wilson, II is an accomplished educational executive with more than 30 years of experience in K–12 education, school administration, instructional leadership, and charter school oversight. He currently serves as Interim Director of the Charter Schools Office at Eastern Michigan University, where he provides oversight and support to 9 university-authorized public charter schools. In this role, he leads school reviews, supports governance and compliance, monitors academic performance, and helps school leaders develop strategies for continuous improvement.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has served as an Assistant Principal, Dean of Culture, Social Studies Department Head, and classroom teacher. His leadership experience includes instructional coaching, school improvement, restorative practices, student support, governance, and organizational development. He has also co-led nine charter school reauthorization reviews and has supervised and supported teams serving hundreds of students.

A committed advocate for student success and leadership development, Mr. Wilson co-founded a male mentoring program that has positively impacted approximately 500 young men through mentoring, academic support, and leadership development. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Central State University. He is also a longtime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
